I'm so happy with my new 5km Personal Record of 55.3 minutes last May 30 at the First Call Center Run or Run 4 Q which was organized by Qualfon.

And now I'm joining another race.

Planet Sports has sponsored their first running event this coming June 27, 2010 which features three race categories - 10Km, 5Km and 3Km.

I registered last June 6 for the 5Km race.

I am not joining this event to compete with other runners but to race against myself and beat my Personal Record. If I can beat my PR then I can also beat hypertension and diabetes which runs in the blood of my parents.

For those who want to join this running event, registration fee for the 10K and 5K category is P250 inclusive of a singlet, while for 3K is P200 but without the singlet.

Registration is only until June 23, 2010. You can register at the Ground Floor, Active Zone Info Desk, Ayala Center Cebu and at Planet sports.

Race packets containing the singlet, number bib and route map may be claimed on June 20, 2010 at Planet Sports, Active Zone, Ayala Center Cebu.

Planet sports is organizing this race in order to promote a healthy lifestyle among the Cebuanos and they are expecting over 1,500 runners to participate in this event.
