My name is Rommel Laranjo. A Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering graduate from the University of San Carlos and Masters in Business Administration at Misamis University.

I am currently working at Infoweapons Corporation where I started as a Network Engineer involved in research of different IPv6 technologies, actively took part in software development of our flagship product and eventually became a Software Engineer. I am deeply involved in various phases of our product development from planning, analysis and design, development (both back-end and front-end), testing, maintenance and support, and at times, were given the opportunity to lead this entire process.

Prior to joining Infoweapons, I have been in the academe for 9 straight years. I started as a Computer Engineering Instructor at Misamis University and later on became the Chairman of our department.

In 2003, I have successfully completed the 4 fast-tracked modules for Instructors of the Cisco Networking Academy Program (CNAP). On that same year, I took and successfully passed the Cisco Certified Network Associate examination (CCNA) and then also became a Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI).

While in the academe, I was actively involved in various software development projects such as:

• 2004 National Election Quick Count System of Misamis University
• Philippine-Australia Local Sustainability(PALS) Household Survey Database System
• Client/Server Computerized Tabulation System
• Misamis University Medical Center Laboratory Database System
• Misamis University Automated School Bell

Lastly, I appreciate art works of any type. I can draw but I am not a good graphics designer. I love music as much as I love singing. My parents, my wife and some of my close friends who heard me sing told me that I'm a good singer... I just hope their telling the truth. :)
