A Seminar-Workshop in Web Site Development using Drupal at Misamis University

Last week, I conducted a 1-day Seminar-Workshop in Web Site Development using Drupal at Misamis University, Ozamiz City. I gave a short presentation as an introduction about Drupal in the morning and then in the afternoon, I gave a series of short exercises starting from Drupal 6.15 installation up to Creating a Module in Drupal.

There were around 60+ participants in the event. The target audience were a mixed of Computer Science, Information Technology and Computer Engineering students and faculty members of the College of Computer Studies of Misamis University. Some freelance programmers and web developers in the area also showed-up to attend the seminar and they approached me after the workshop telling me that they were impressed on the features of Drupal especially in creating customized modules to extend its capabilities.

Here are the slides I used in the seminar. I will also share here the exercises I gave them in the workshop.
